Postmodern literary theory ("De-Constructing Dr. Seuss,") Friday, June 6; will do grade recap/exam couseling that day as well

 

 MAKE UP for Thursday, May 29th: 

1. Download two-column note activity handout (above)

2. Fill out the boxes for The Thngs They Carried

3. Go to the link here and read the letter from Barbara Sonneborn to her husband: http://widow-speak.org/ww_sonneborn_1.html  THEN, in about  about 350-400 words)  describe what you think it would be like to be the spouse (or child) of a military person deployed during war time.  What are the responsibilities of the family members left behind. You may writei from actual experience, the point of viw of someone you know, or do a fictinal/creative essay.

4. If you were present on Wednesday, you will not have the option above. You MUST respond to the questions about the documentary to receive credit.
