1. Print this sheet and fill out the responses that pertain to the book, The Things They Carried
2. Because you did not see the documentary on Wednesday, you will need to visit the following website and read Barbara's letter to her husband who was killed in Viet Nam. http://widow-speak.org/ww_sonneborn_1.html THEN, write a paragraph (about 250-300 words) and describe what you think it would be like to be the spouse (or child) of a military person deployed during war time. What are the responsibilities of the family members left behind?
3. If you were present on Wednesday, you will not have the research option above. You MUST respond to the questions about the documentary to receive credit.
